SCBWI National Conference

In a rare aligning of stars, all three One More Page hosts managed to make it to a writing event together this week, and it was a good one!

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Sydney conference is one of the biggest events on the children's writing calendar, featuring not only international publishers and agents, but also the world famous dinner dance featuring SCBWI band The Beatnickers, headed up by James Foley, Meredith Costain and Scott Chambers.

SCBWI was a great chance to catch up with writing pals and also to fan girl with some of our favourite authors: A.L. Tait, Tim Harris and Oliver Phommavanh.
